The Voice program aims to keep the refugee community in Maastricht connected by communicating about all activities inside & outside RPM. The Communications Team supports the other programs by enabling the flow of information about our activities, events, and our achievements with the locals, the students, and the refugee community. The need for communication is one of the basic and foundational pieces of any project. The Communications Team is in charge of all the intra-project communications and marketing issues. Our team is responsible for creating bridges between projects and securing a welcoming environment for all new and existing people in our community. We take care of all mediums of communication, such as posters, Social Media, weekly planners/flyers and the website. We are the first point of contact for RPM via email and Facebook messenger. The team is also the main contact point between COA/AZC and RPM. Together with refugees we create a platform where they can share their story. Our Advocacy team runs an RPM blog, podcast (Refugee Radio Maastricht) and a variety of activities such as petitions, fundraisers, movie nights and a lecture series.
