Zero Discrimination Day

Today, the Refugee Project Maastricht celebrates Zero Discrimination Day. This is an annual event which has been celebrated by the UN, WHO and others worldwide after being launched by UNAIDS in 2014. Discrimination based on race, age, gender, nationality, sexual orientation and religion is unfortunately still widespread in society. We can all help by speaking out against injustice and standing together in the fight against discrimination, prejudice and stigma. At RPM, we are committed to supporting refugees in our community by making sure they feel welcome in Maastricht.
