Meet the team
Meet the people who help bring RPM to life. Together, we make space for connection, learning and new ideas.
Our coordinators, interns and volunteer team leaders support the activities and people across RPM. They work alongside a wider community of volunteers and participants, each bringing their own skills and experiences. That shared effort is what makes RPM feel like a place to belong.
Coordinators
We are Szilvi, Alaia, Juliette and Nathalie. Together we coordinate the programs that form the backbone of RPM. But the heart of the organization is made up of the people that volunteer for us and participate in our activities. Together we create a home away from home in Maastricht.
Alaia coordinates all three Language programs plus the Communication team, which tells RPM's stories to the wider Maastricht community. Multi-tasking is her super power. Alaia knows what it is to build a life in a new place. She is kind and calm and brings people together.
Szilvi is one of the main RPM coordinators and the heart of RPM. She coordinates the Youth program, Wellbeing (Sports) and Advocacy. She is our main contact person for the AZC's and crisis shelters. You will see Szilvi sipping her tea, cracking jokes (in Hungarian) or telling cat stories.
Juliette is our Community Coordinator. She is from France and Germany and helps create fun, welcoming spaces where women and other community members can meet, take part and shape activities together. She loves organizing refugee-led Culture Cafes for 100+ people.
Nathalie is our other main RPM Coordinator. She takes care of subsidy applications and is involved in the RPM Academy and Ambassadors. Her dream is to start a refugee choir. She uses her wide local network to build bridges between refugees and Mestreechtenere like herself.
