Home Program

The Home Program is the cozy & welcoming heart of RPM, anchored by the K5 Community Center which serves as a sanctuary, providing refugees, volunteers, and students with a warm and loving environment that feels like a Home Away From Home.
The Home Program offers a variety of fun, relaxing, and musical activities and events, with the aim of fostering intercultural exchange, bridging divides and forging meaningful connections.
These social activities not only provide a source of joy and delight, but also foster a sense of community that is rooted in love and compassion.
The Culture Café:
is a monthly cultural gathering for refugees, students, and members of the RPM community.
It provides a platform for individuals with a refugee background to celebrate their rich and diverse cultural heritage by showcasing traditional cuisine, music, dance, poetry, and dress from cultures around the world.
The Culture Café is a safe and inclusive space for refugees to proudly display their cultural roots, free from any judgment, gloom, or fear.
It also serves as an opportunity for the RPM Community to learn about and appreciate other cultures, promoting strong bonds and creating a harmonious community.



Guitar Lessons:
is a weekly program for refugees, students, and members of the RPM community. With an emphasis on learning, creativity, and fun, this activity offers a unique opportunity for participants to begin or enhance their guitar skills, while also fostering connections with others.
Mindful Art Sessions:
is a weekly haven for those seeking peace and relaxation, Mindful Art Sessions provides a creative outlet for refugees, students, and members of the RPM community.
In a safe and calming atmosphere, participants can unwind as they engage in soothing drawing and coloring exercises that nurture their artistic expression.
Movie Nights:
is a weekly movie-viewing gathering for refugees, students, and members of the RPM community. It provides a warm and inviting atmosphere where participants can come together, share in the joy of cinema, and make meaningful connections.
